MY property backs onto Coast Road and I too am concerned of the lack of a footpath to the road. When I came here in 1999 my solicitor who was thorough, showed me a map from the council displaying a future proposed road from Tesco's roundabout to the roundabout in Brean.
A road from Brean to Red Road and from Tesco's roundabout to Stoddens Lane has been built, the remainder presumably is for the future??
I am told that in high season there are in excess of 50,000 campers at Brean and all arrive and leave via a couple of country lanes. The question I keep asking is - how could councils give permission to convert farm land to holiday camps and watch millions of pounds being spent and no infrastructure being built to accommodate the change?

The saying comes to mind that there is something wrong in the state of Denmark, especially as it is the same councils that created the present problem and are now denying us a simple footpath!
