AT THE April 17 meeting, instead of a musical entertainment, members were given a talk and demonstration by a representative of Wiltshire Farm Foods. The business, based in Trowbridge, provides meals for thousands of housebound and elderly people and is a lifeline to many as it is delivered to their homes.
After the talk members were able to sample the food and give it their seal of approval.
In spite of several apologies, chairman, Mr Hill, welcomed 43 members. Mrs Cox announced that the coach was fully booked for the planned outing on May 15 to Totnes and the River Dart, with a reminder of the early 8.45am start.
