THE University of the Third Age is for those people who have done the First Age - school, have done the Second Age - work and are now looking for something to do in their Third Age.
The annual show committee held a very successful cream tea event in a member's garden on Thursday June 19 on a lovely sunny, summer day welcoming visitors from far and wide.
AT the June 5 meeting discussions took place regarding the annual bursary lunch to be held on Wednesday July 23 at 1pm in the church hall, Vicarage Lane, Mark. Members offered items of food and raffle prizes and everyone was encouraged to bring a friend. Tickets are £6.50p.
