AT just four years old, Lukas Dowdle, of Bower Hinton, was the youngest winner in the youth awards.
Despite his early years, he has become a pillar of support for his mum, Lucy Dowdle, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when Lukas was 18 months old.
Lucy said: "Lukas is amazing. From a young age he seemed to understand. He was such a good boy and would play quietly, knowing that I needed to be quiet.
"He sat on my bed and cuddled me when I needed to sleep. Every day when I am ill in bed he comes home from school and tells me he missed me and asks how I am.
"There have been days where I could not have coped if he wasn't the incredible boy he is and I love him for that."
