Adventure prizes up for grabs at Wellington Nissan
THRILL-seeking motorists should head
straight for Wellington Nissan this
weekend (May 10 and 11) where they
can get behind the wheel of one of
Nissan's award-winning 4x4 range - and
have the chance to win a DVD box set of
stunning, adventure-themed films.
The first 1,000 motorists across the UK
to take a test drive will get their hands
on the eight remarkable films, including
Long Way Down' - Ewan McGregor and
Charley Boorman's 15,000-mile journey
from John O'Groats to South Africa,
when they were supported by a pair of
hardy Nissan Patrols.
The special test drive weekend and
prizes continue Nissan's involvement as
a major sponsor and partner of
adventure-based sports and events
across the globe under the Nissan Sports
Adventure campaign.
This spirit of adventure is reflected in
a range of adventure-themed special
edition vehicles currently available for
test drive at the Summerfield Way
dealership in Wellington.
The Long Way Down' theme is
brought to life at Wellington Nissan with
the special edition Navara, which comes
with leather upholstery and sunroof and
Long Way Down' side decals, badge and
floor mats, all from just £17,995 + VAT.
The X-TRAIL ARCTIX and ARCTIX
Expedition are inspired by winter sports
and are available with a diesel automatic
engine as standard. It comes with
extreme roof rails and lamps with
snowstorm side steps, satellite
navigation and colour rear view camera
- all from just £21,995.
The winter sports theme perfectly
reflects the vehicle's all-terrain capability
plus its ALL-MODE 4x4-i system, which
automatically reacts to changes in
terrain to provide optimum levels of
road holding and grip.
The Pathfinder MAMMOTH takes
inspiration from the spectacular
wilderness and breathtaking scenery
found on and around Mammoth
Mountain in California, and is the ideal
vehicle for the more adventurous family.
Featuring DVD Satellite Navigation,
roof-mounted rear seat DVD
entertainment system and BOSE audio
system as standard, the Pathfinder
MAMMOTH is available from just
£27,995.
Finally, combining agility, toughness
and style, the QASHQAI is the perfect
vehicle in which to enjoy some urban
adventures. Available from just £13,799,
the QASHQAI has picked up numerous
awards since going on sale in March
2007, including best urban 4x4 from 4x4
and MPV Driver magazine, Scottish
Diesel Car of the Year from the
Association of Scottish Motoring Writers,
best Family Hold-all from evecars.com,
and the 2.0 dCi with All-Mode
transmission was judged Best SUV by
What Diesel Car?
Michael Finn, dealer principal of
Wellington Nissan, said: "When you
need a vehicle in which to tackle testing
terrain, our award-winning 4x4 range
can't be beaten.
"The DVD box set of adventure films
will inspire the adventurer in you so we
want people to come along for a test
drive and find the perfect vehicle in
which to pursue their passion for the
great outdoors."
Motorists who prefer a little less
adventure but still require great
performance and style can test-drive the
chic Micra, Micra C+C and NOTE
models to be in with the chance of
winning a romantic holiday to Verona in
northern Italy. To book your test drive in
any of Nissan's vehicles, call Wellington
Nissan on 01823-667511.
