Register next month for Glasto
FOR anyone hoping to head to Glastonbury Festival this year it is vital that you register your interest during February.
In his continuing campaign to combat ticket touting Michael Eavis, festival organiser, said: "I want to keep up the momentum we gathered last year by stopping ticket touting altogether.
"Thank you for being so supportive of our registration process, which is after all quite tedious. I appreciate it so much."
The 2008 registration process is very similar to last year's system, which involved supplying contact details and a standard passport photo.
Everyone, including children aged 13 and over, who wants to buy tickets will need to register first to be eligible to go through the sales procedure on April 6.
You can register at any time from 9am on Friday February 1 until midnight on Friday February 29, either online - via www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk - or by completing a registration form, available from any branch of Millets, or by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Glastonbury Registration, Millets, Mansard Close, Westgate, Northampton NN5 5DL.
