FOUR years after the release of her Grammy nominated Juno Award winning best selling album 'The Reminder' Canadian Feist returns with a brand new album - 'Metals'.

The 35-year-old Canadian - born Leslie Feist, but known simply as Feist - is also a former member of indie rock band Broken Social Scene, appearing on their albums and touring with the band.

She has had most success in her home country where she made number 2 and picked up a platinum disc with third album 'The Reminder', which also went gold in the States. It climbed to 28 in the UK so she will be hoping for better things over here this time.

Recorded in Big Sur, California, and co-produced by longtime collaborators Chilly Gonzales and Mocky as well as newcomer Valgeir Sigurosson (Bjork, Bonnie Princre Billy), 'Metals' is released through Polydor/Interscope/Universal/Arts and Crafts.

Like 'The Reminder', this album is astoundingly intimate, yet often exuberant, rife with unfortgettable pop gems. Each of the 12 tracks hints at a different element on this stunningly beautiful, sublime record which could go a long way to improviing her reputation in the UK.
