A HOST of legendary acts revved up a lively Glastonbury crowd on the final afternoon of the festival.

Status Quo, Tony Christie, Tom Jones and Madness were greeted by thousands of cheering fans basking on the hill by the Pyramid Stage.

There was very much a family feel to Sunday afternoon's entertainment - as rockers Quo got the crowd going with favourite 'Rockin' all over the World'.

Tony Christie's highlight was recent re-released hit 'Amarillo'- which struck up a conga line in the audience.

Welsh legend Jones belted out a string of his classic hits, including 'Delilah' and 'Mama told me not to come'.

So involved were the crowd that one over-enthusiastic fan even treated the audience to a strip-tease during 'You can leave your hat on'.

Finally Madness took things 'One Step Beyond'- which left the hill by the main stage jumping as fans pulled out their best ska moves.

The festival is now gearing up for its finale, as Prodigy and Blur look to bring the 2009 event to a crashing crescendo.
