The four coaches from BBC singing show The Voice will share a sofa with one of the success stories from rival show The X Factor in the new series of Alan Carr’s chat show.

Channel 4′s Chatty Man returns this month with Will.i.am, Rita Ora, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson among the guests in the first episode.

The Voice foursome will be joined by actor Antonio Banderas and singer Ella Henderson who is promoting her latest single Mirror Man.

Ella was signed up by Simon Cowell’s Syco label despite being eliminated from the 2012 X Factor without even making the quarter-finals.

She scored a number one album with her debut release Chapter One, which featured best-selling singles including Ghost and Glow.

The Voice has struggled to produce anyone to match the success of acts created by the X Factor.

The winner of the first series, Leanne Mitchell, flopped when her debut single did not reach the top 40 and her album missed out on the top 100.

Speaking earlier this week, Ricky told Radio 5 Live’s Afternoon Edition: “I assure you that in the next few years you will see people at number one, you will see people on chat shows that were once on The Voice.”

He added: “It will happen, it just might not be that wham bam Christmas number one thank you disappear in six months vibe.”
