Strictly Come Dancing contestant Judge Rinder bared his torso with his explosive first dance but he will have to keep his shirt buttoned up as he tackles his second dance, the American Smooth.

A clip of his cha cha from the first weekend of the BBC One show has become the most popular social media clip in Strictly history.

The TV personality and criminal barrister, whose real name is Robert Rinder, was told by head judge Len Goodman that he “put the boy in flamboyant”.

Ed Balls will be hoping to move up from the bottom of the leaderboard as he tackles the Charleston for his second dance.

The former shadow chancellor and his professional partner Katya Jones will be dancing to The Banjo’s Back In Town, the song originally sung by Teresa Brewer.

Model Daisy Lowe, who is top of the leaderboard, will be hoping to impress the judges with a cha cha performed to CeeLo Green’s hit Forget You.

Singer Louise Redknapp and former Hollyoaks star Danny Mac, tied in second place on the leaderboard, will both be showing off their fancy footwork doing the Viennese waltz.

Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford will be put through his paces doing the tango to a very apt song, Van Halen’s Jump.

Radio DJ Melvin Odoom will also be tackling the tango.

Gymnast Claudia Fragapane and TV personality Laura Whitmore will both be waltzing while sports presenter Ore Oduba, actress Lesley Joseph and Naga Munchetty will all be doing the cha cha.

American singer Anastacia was praised for her first dance, a cha cha, by judge Craig Revel Horwood, who said it was “absolute filth, bordering on indecency, which I love”.

Her second dance with her professional partner Brendan Cole may be just as saucy as she will be doing a salsa to Fleur East’s Sax.

Former EastEnders star Tameka Empson will be doing a Charleston while singer Will Young will be aiming for another top mark as he takes on the jive.
