A LONG-STANDING member of the West Huntspill Players has been recognised with a coveted award.
Alastair Murray (pictured) won the Rose Bowl Award 2012 for best supporting actor for his part in the farce, See How They Run, staged in April.
He said: “I am a founder member of Burnham and District Pantomime Society and have been acting since my school days.
“This is the fourth time a member of the West Huntspill Players has won the prestigious Rose Bowl Award. I was nominated way back in 1995 when I played the same part in the play.
“I am very pleased to have won it this time and to be a part of the West Huntspill Players, which is a really fine group of local actors and actresses.”
