LUCKY music enthusiasts will be able to indulge themselves in a weekend of jazz at Burnham’s Princess Theatre.

Organised by Burnham Moose International Lodge 123, the festivities begin tomorrow (November 16) with Roger Well’s Dixie Hotshots.

Tables will be arranged cabaret-style with sausage and chips on the menu and refreshments available from the newly upgraded luxury Princess Theatre bar.

Tickets are in short supply for the following night’s excitement, as the Tone Valley Jazz Band fill the theatre with their unique sound and fish and chips are served to the audience.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start on both nights. Friday tickets costing £11 and Saturday tickets at £12, available from Mr Beans Cafe in Burnham’s High Street (01278-794222), Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Princess Street (01278-784464) or from Terry Cornelius on 01278-784645.

Proceeds from the Roger Wells’ Dixie Hotshots performance will go towards Bridgwater children’s charity Brainwave and other charities supported by the Moose group, and beneficiaries of the Tone Valley Jazz Band evening are Children in Need, Friends of the Princess and other Moose charities.
