A SINGER from Burnham has been catapulted into the spotlight after coming runner-up in a tough competition.
Teresa (Reza) Plant, 44, from Thorndike Way, came second in ‘The Horse Factor’, a singing competition run by The Hungry Horse pub chain.
Teresa said: “I auditioned at The Rosewood in Love Lane and got through to the semi-finals. I came back and was runner-up out of the South West.
“I’ve always loved to sing and spent some time in Cyprus singing and also gigging in Birmingham, where I’m originally from.
“Coming runner-up has really given me the confidence to do something that I love and I’ve been getting lots of bookings.”
Reza will be performing pop songs from the ’60s to current hits at The Pier tomorrow (November 23) from 9pm onwards and at The Rosewood on Saturday, November 24, from 8.30pm.
