Santa's grotto in giant igloo
10:00am Monday 26th November 2012 in What's On
VISITORS to Puxton Park near Weston can get a taste of the Arctic this winter with the launch of a giant igloo.
The adventure park has added an extension to its reception to create a lifesize igloo complete with snow to house this year’s Christmas grotto.
Youngsters will be able to step inside to meet Puxton’s reindeers and donkeys, as well as Father Christmas himself when the grotto opens on December 1.
There will also be a free carol service on November 30 from 7pm to 9pm, when the public will have the chance to meet Santa and Puxton’s characters in Meadow’s restaurant.
Puxton’s winter wonderland will also include a Christmas market running every weekend from December 1 and December 21 to 24.
Tickets to the grotto cost £6, or £10 will buy entry to both the grotto and the park.
