WORKSHOP dates for Bridgwater Amateur Operatic Society’s exciting new production of Our House, to be performed next April, have been announced.
First presented at the Cambridge Theatre in London in 2002, the show combines a witty and brilliantly-crafted romantic tale with the energetic and catchy songs of Madness.
The story centres on Joe Casey who breaks into a building site on his 16th birthday to impress his girlfriend.
The police arrive and his life splits in two: the good Joe, who stays to help, and bad Joe, who flees.
There will be an introductory meeting on December 5, followed by workshops on December 6, 10, 12 and 13 from 7.30pm at the society’s headquarters in All Saints Terrace, Bridgwater.
Auditions will take place in the clubroom on January 6 from 10am, with rehearsals starting the following day.
