PANTOMIME season is upon us and Quantock Players are performing their production of Robinson Crusoe this week – oh yes they are.
Robinson Crusoe, driven from home, finds adventures on the high seas, under the sea and on his deserted island.
Directed by Mike Onions, this will be the group's 28th production and promises to have audiences in stitches.
The dame, Mrs Crusoe, is played by Jack Broughton, who was awarded ‘Young Linkman of the Year’ in last year's Somerset Cinderella Trophy Competition as Idle Jack in Mother Goose.
Principal girl Rosie, who is determined to marry Robinson in spite of her mother's wishes, is played by Charlotte Legg, while the principal boy, honourable and upright Robinson, is played by Lucy Ingram.
The pantomime is on tonight (Thursday) to Saturday at 7.30pm at Nether Stowey Village Hall plus a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
Tickets are £5/£2.50 children on 01278-733197.
