THE Annual Christmas Open Exhibition at Bridgwater Arts Centre is once again offering visitors a chance to enjoy and, perhaps, purchase affordable art from across the region.
The work on sale includes wire sculpture, oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings and ceramics.
Pat Morley, who steps down as chair of Visual Arts at the end of the year, said: “I have been involved with selection of exhibition work for the gallery for over 15 years and selecting and hanging the Christmas Open is always a challenge and a lot of fun.
“This year the work submitted so far is very striking; the team look forward to combining artwork in widely different styles and techniques and creating an attractive show of unique artwork to give or receive.”
The free-to-enter exhibition is held in the Gallery of the arts centre until December 21, open Wednesdays to Fridays from 10am to 3pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
