TALENTED youngsters from The Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts Centre in Highbridge brought the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to Somerset.
The performances during A Night at the Hollywood Oscars at Batch Country House transported the audience to the home of cinema, down the walk of fame, named celebrities and culminated in an Oscar-style awards ceremony.
Guests and pupils enjoyed a three course dinner and then danced the night away to celebrate, while raising funds for the Highbridge Festival of Arts.
Principal Lucy Gunter said: “It was a fantastic end to a very busy but successful year and we are now looking forward to taking the show to the Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Burnham on January 4 and 5.
“So far we have raised £500 for the Highbridge Festival and will continue to raise funds for them in January in the hope of increasing this figure for a well-deserved cause.”
