Circus of Horrors heads to Weston
BRITAIN’S Got Talent finalists the Circus of Horrors will be returning to Weston-super-Mare on Sunday, February 3, with a new show called The Curse of the Devil Doll.
Theire show at The Playhouse Theatre promises to be packed with bizarre, daredevil circus acts which will have you on the edge of your seat.
Seventeen years after its conception at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival, the show has gone on to tour the world, achieving cult status.
To the uninitiated The Circus of Horrors is a theatre experience unlike anything else.
Join undead ringmaster Dr Haze as he introduces some of the greatest, most bizarre and beautiful circus acts on earth.
The show offers plenty of new shocks which will take you on a whirlwind journey into 1927 Berlin – the roaring 20s, a decadent decade where cabaret was born – but bigger, better and badder than ever before.
After the demise of ‘The Ventriloquist’ in the previous show the damned doll takes on a life of its own and wages war on his nemesis, Dr Haze.
Expect an almighty cast of 26 of the wildest, weirdest but great performers performing daredevil flying trapeze, sword swallowing and knife throwing, plus pickled and bendy people, and voodoo warriors.
The show is deemed unsuitable for children as it contains some nudity, adult language and strobe lighting, but children can be admitted if they are accompanied by an adult.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £14-£22 on 01934-645544 or at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
