HEAD to Spaxton Village Hall in Bridgwater for their first open music night of 2013.
Free twenty minute slots are available for those who want to play on Friday, February 1 and all are welcome to go along and watch.
Spaxrox, the organisation putting on the event which attracts around 70 people, launched it three and a half years ago to provide local musicians with a much needed platform.
They provide the stage, the audience the PA, the bar and a great, welcoming friendly atmosphere.
House bass player Matt Bailey said: “We’ve had all manner of people turn up from bands to harpist, accordion to guitar, ukelele to viola da gamba! Folk, jazz, country, blues and rock.”
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Entry is free but small donations are welcome. There is no advance booking. For further details visit www.spaxrox.org
