Puxton Park ahead by a nose for Comic Relief
VISITORS to Puxton Park on Friday, March 15, will be encouraged to do something funny for money by wearing a red nose for Comic Relief.
Even donkeys at the adventure park will be donning red noses, right, and those youngsters who follow suit will be rewarded with reduced admission on the day with the proceeds going directly to the cause.
To raise more funds farmer Mark Slade will undertake a hair raising challenge, completing a sponsored leg wax.
Head of Park, Susie Johnson, said: “This year marks the 25th Red Nose Day for Comic Relief, and Puxton’s animals and staff will be pulling out all the stops to help raise funds to transform the lives of countless people living unimaginably tough lives in the UK and in Africa.
“Our sheep got spotty for Children in Need and now our donkeys are lending their support by wearing their Red Noses.
“Please come along to join in the fun and help raise vital funds for this worthy cause.”
