Storyfest hits the road

MARCH will see the Somerset Storyfest leaping and bounding its way around the county with words, images and sounds for everyone.

The 2013 festival will include free family events at Taunton Library this Saturday (March 2), with a three-course feast of storytelling and puppet-making.

Somerset Storyfest Director said: “We are delighted to be back for 2013, especially in a year of difficult financial times for the Arts.

“We are very grateful for the support and assistance we have received from our funders to help SSF continue and develop and overjoyed to have made so many new partnerships with exciting and notable venues.”

Other highlights of the festival include the show Grimm and Grimmer on Thursday, March 7, for children aged 10+ and a Beat it, Speak it evening for 14- to 19- year-olds, both at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, near Taunton.
