Weston's air show will make history this summer

THE Red Arrows are returning to Weston this summer.

The famous RAF Aerobatic Team will be joined by a selection of world-class air display teams including the Falcons parachute team and Aerosuperbatics the Breitling Wing Walkers, who will perform a breathtaking sequence of manoeuvres while strapped to the top wings of the team’s beautiful Boeing Stearman bi-planes.

Crowds will also see a Dakota and a Spitfire soar above them for the first time in the event’s 30-year association with the town, making aviation history.

The two-day Air Show at the Grand Pier is a free event and is scheduled to take place on June 23 and 24.
