WESTON is hosting an action-packed weekend of motorcycle beach racing this weekend when professional riders compete in the Red Bull Pro Nationals.

The team behind the domestic motorcross series, which are held at some of the best prepared tracks across the UK, are excited to be stopping off at the famous seaside resort as part of their tour this year.

Expect lap times around the two minute mark from some 300 of the very fastest and professional racers, who will compete in a series of 26 races throughout the weekend on the custom built track running from the pier head to the Tropicana.

MX1 defending champion Nico Aubin, two time world champion Steve Ramon and two time Red Bull Pro Nationals champion Brad Anderson are among the talented riders to take on the intense course.

There will be plenty to do over the race weekend starting May 18, including live music and a Trade Village.

A Kidzone on the huge lawn will host visits from popular children’s characters including Fireman Sam, Peppa Pig and George and Bob the builder.

A balance bike inflatable course, bungee trampolines and soft play areas are bound to keep young children and teenagers entertained throughout the weekend.

Fearless freestyle motorcross riders will also be putting on a show and there will be motorcross experience areas for visitors from five years up and adults offering a chance to ride an off-road motorbike.

Tickets cost £10 – for more information visit www.redbullpronationals.com
