CLIVE John is Johnny Cash on the Roadshow
JOHNNY Cash, the original hard man of country, gets his revival at Weston’s Playhouse Theatre on Thursday July 25.
The Johnny Cash Roadshow stars singersongwriter Clive John, who is said to capture Cash with “astounding accuracy”.
Flanked by Jill Schoonjans as Cash’s love and singing partner June Carter, and given musical accompaniment by The Spirit Band, the roadshow promises to deliver all the hits.
John will perform Ring Of Fire, Walk The Line and Jackson with the icon’s trademark growl, and backed by an evocative picture gallery of stills from Johnny Cash's life.
Tickets for the “uncanny” tribute, which starts at 7.30pm on Thursday July 25, are £18/£17.
