THE Jack Ratts, right, a six-piece folk punk set from Dorset, will perform at the Victoria Hotel in Burnham on Saturday.
Taking their name from Jack Rattenbury, notorious smuggler of 19th century fame, the band has made its presence felt this year on the festival circuit, drawing threads of musical influence from traditional English, European polka and American bluegrass music.
It willl be a welcome return for the group, who played at this year’s town folkfest. The gig starts at 8pm.
