YULE may be officially wrapped up, yet one Christmas is still set to burst out of his comedy box this January.
The New Zealand-born Jarred Christmas will take to the mic at The Comedy Box, a showcase of top-flight comedy, which is cracking open the Blakehay Theatre Weston’s spring season, on Friday, January 17.
With a style deemed “fabulously boisterous” by the Evening Standard, Jarred’s performance has been compared to a “comedic high five” by Chortle, the UK comedy guide.
Joining him is Matt Rees, who has received numerous acknowledgements for his “instinctive” comedy. Bristol compere Mark Olver, meanwhile, will interject with his ‘cheery’ gags.
Tickets cost £12 for the show, which starts at 8.30pm at the Blakehay Theatre in Weston’s Wadham Street. Visit www.ticketsource.co.uk or call 01934-645493 to book.
