A SNAPSHOT of Victorian Music Hall glamour to “keep the home fires burning” comes to Weston’s Playhouse theatre this weekend.

Performers from the BBC’s long-standing light-entertainment programme, ‘The Good Old Days’, will don period costume to return as a cast of 10 in The Paper Moon Theatre Company’s nostalgic show.

Among them is Paper Moon producer Jan Hunt, who appeared in 15 of the ‘Good Old’ broadcast shows.

The programme ran for 30 years from 1953 to 1983, moving to the stage in 1988 at the City Varieties in Leeds, where it is reprised for two seasons a year.

Tickets cost £15, £13 for concessions, or £11 for groups of ten and over. The show starts at 3pm on Sunday. Call the Playhouse Theatre box office on 01934-645544 or www.theplayhouse.co.uk to book.
