TICKETS are now available for the inaugural Middlezoy Arts Festival featuring music, arts, cabaret and workshops for all the family.

PARISIAN jazz, street dance, upcycling, willow-sculpting and garden graffiti all feature in Middlezoy’s first-ever arts festival, from July 10-13.

Cathedral choristers Celeste are to open the festival with a Middlezoy church concert.

Day-time on Friday, primary school pupils will create a lasting piece of artwork depicting the village, with street dance workshops, and Middlezoy theatre performances in the evening at the hall.

Cabaret comes on Saturday to The George Inn, with a mix of exhibitions and open studios dotted around the village all weekend, spanning art, design, textiles, fashion and media, and willow, mosaic and video workshops.

Then on final-day Sunday, The Rivertones Acapella Choir are at The George Inn with stone-baked pizzas for snacking, followed by a concert to close with English and French-sung jazz from Gabrielle Ducomble (pictured) and her quintet in the ‘Jazz Cafe’.

A Garden Art competition is running prior to Middlezoy’s arts fest, with categories spanning organic art, creative planning and metal.

Pick up an entry form and more information from the Post Office.
