LIMITED tickets remain for a concert starring three bands in aid of the Somerset Community Foundation’s flood relief fund in Middlezoy this June.

From 7pm on Friday June 6, band Snappa will headline a line-up also featuring Treefrogs and Sun Dog Days at the village hall.

Snappa frontman Mick Moffat said: “We played at the King Alfred in Burrowbridge at the height of the flooding and it was obvious everyone needed a bit of a knees-up and to let their hair down.”

Mick, who has family in Burrowbridge, added: “We said at the time we would like to return and do a special gig so that’s exactly what we’re doing.”

The group has invited Ravi Singh of Sikh aid charity Khalsa Aid, which helped in the Somerset flood response, and farmer James Winslade and his family as ‘guests of honour’ while Jim and Sally of the King Alfred in Burrowbridge will be manning the bar.

Tickets cost £5 from The Salon in Bridgwater’s Eastover, Middlezoy village stores and post office, The King Alfred Inn in Burrowbridge, the Royal Oak Inn at Stoke St Gregory, The Hair Of The Dog Barbers in Burnham High Street and GC Music & Collectables in East Reach, Taunton.
