A GLIMPSE into a hotly-awaited showcase of Henri Matisse’s artwork, currently on display at London’s Tate Modern gallery, is being screened at the Strode Theatre.

On Saturday June 7 at 5pm audiences will get an insight into Matisse: The Cut-outs, in an encore screening of a behind-the-scenes preview to this “blockbuster” exhibition.

Over 100 pieces of work by the renowned painter and collagist have been curated for the Tate’s display.

Presented by Francine Stock, contributions come from Tate director Nicholas Serota, Royal Ballet principal dancer Zenaida Yanowsky, and jazz musician Courtney Pine, along with actors Simon Russell Beale and Rupert Young.

Tickets cost £12.50 (£10.50 concessions) at www.strodetheatre.org.uk or 01458-442846.
