PINSTRIPE Productions brings the triple Tony Award-winning puppet-packed production, Avenue Q, to Bridgwater Arts Centre next week.
The all-singing, all-dancing ‘fur fest’ tells the story of struggling college graduate Princeton as the real world of New York hits him between the eyes.
The Sunday Times saw fit to christen the show the musical of the decade.
And while the inevitable parallel with Sesame Street has been drawn, this show doesn’t shy away from its adult themes, from sex and relationships to living on the breadline (a parental advisory rating of 12 has been given).
The show runs from Tuesday to Saturday, July 22-26, at the arts centre.
Tickets are £12 (£10 Saturday matinee) and can be bought online at www.bridgwaterartscentre.co.uk or from the box office on 01278-422700.
