TATTOOS are being recognised as pieces of artwork in Bridgwater in a special October exhibition...and you’re invited to go along and flaunt your designs.

Bridgwater Arts Centre is showing the Art of the Tattoo in the gallery from October 1-4 in an event called ‘But is it Art?’

If you have ever wondered about the tattoo and whether it classes as an art form, then pop in to look at some of the designs and also see some interesting historical instruments lent to the gallery by Sean Evett who runs Exclusive Tattoos, Street.

Better still, if you have a tattoo then Saturday night is a chance for you to become a work of art.

Everybody with a tattoo is invited to come along from 7pm to show off their ‘ink’ and be part of the art on show. Doing so will entitle you to £2 off a ticket for Danny and the Champions of the World’s performance at the centre, which starts at 8pm.
