GYPSY Watkins’ concert was a screaming success on Sunday night at the Princess Theatre, Burnham.

A packed theatre witnessed another sensational performance by the talented and gifted Highbridge singer.

Her performance was enhanced by the inclusion of the dancers from Burnham’s Dance Fit Academy, who performed alongside her – to the delight of the watching crowd.

Dressed in fancy cabaret costume, the girls made several costume changes and performed solo dances.

They performed several dances, including a ballet dance to Gypsy’s version of Ave Maria, along with several Elvis Presley numbers.

Cllr Martin Cox, Mayor of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge, said: “Another scintillating show last night with Gypsy’s unmistakable melodic voice singing everything from opera to Climb Every Mountain note perfect.

“Gypsy now has some great dancers to back some of her numbers and they even had a spot of their own to do the Can-Can! Altogether, a great evening.”

Gypsy is back at The Princess Theatre on Thursday, February 26, when another very special show is planned.

She has several other shows planned throughout the year at the Princess Theatre and around Somerset.
