THERE is a host of great music, food and fun in Burnham this week at the 10th Anniversary Folkfest.

The Princess Theatre and Manor Gardens are just two of the venues hosting top acts such as CoCo and the Butterfields.

Six music stages throughout the town centre will offer live music from 1.00pm until 11.00pm, and there's also a poetry centre, traditional dance stage, kidzone, craft market and street performers all free.

Manor Gardens is the location for an open air stage and look out for the real ale and cider bar, ice creams, burgers and lots more.

Among the many top acts taking part are the Rosie Eade Band. One of the loveliest new voices on the folk and acoustic music scene, Rosie leads the band in lively and evocative life inspired songs written over a number of years.

Other names to look out for are The Zen Hussies plus Support at the Ritz Social Club ( tickets £5.00), Polden Ridge Mountain Boys, The Thatchers, The Model Folk, Eleanor Dillon and The Drystones.
