JUST to prove you can't keep a good musician down, Marty Davies is back.

Marty has enjoyed a diverse career from teenage accordion player to touring with country band, Denver Spur,

Now he's gigging again by popular demand from his legion of fans with a concert at the Baptist Church, St. Mary Street in Bridgwater on Thursday, February 25.

Marty will be presenting memorable songs from the mid 50’s to the mid 70’s in his own inimitable style.

A drummer by trade, Marty has had a diverse musical career. He has gone from his first live performance at 18 in an accordion band, to function bands and prog rock, to years of touring with country band Denver Spur and teaching the music he loves.

The Bridgwater date coincides with the release of Marty’s new five track CD of original songs entitled, Fragile, with copies available on the day.

Doors open at 2.00pm with music starting at 2.30. Admission is just £3.00, which includes tea and cakes to be served after the performance, when Marty will be available to chat and answer questions. All proceeds from the door will go to the Bridgwater Baptist church regeneration fund
