THIS summer Folksy Theatre will be touring the UK with an open-air production of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’.
Following last years production of Hamlet, Folksy Theatre are thrilled to be back performing one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies, As You Like It.
Rosalind is banished from the court and escapes into the forest disguised as a boy, Ganymede. When she meets the man she loves in the forest, she devises and elaborate scheme to find out the verity of his supposed passion for her, through the witty and mischievous façade of Ganymede. This wonderful Shakespearian romantic comedy about life, love, betrayal, faith and death, is filled with Folksy’s touch of live music, bold characters, audience interaction and plenty of laughs.
Bring along your picnics, blankets, folding chairs and friends and family to enjoy this wonderful open-air production at The Walled Gardens of Cannington. on Friday, July 29 at 7pm.
