A SEASON of live music at Bridgwater’s Blake Gardens will begin next Sunday, June 14.

Following the success of last year’s centenary concerts at the gardens, there will be another five live performances spaced a fortnight apart over the next three months.

They will begin on June 14 with Frome Town Band, before Chard Concert Brass (June 28), Wincanton Silver Band (July 12), Taunton Concert Band (July 26) and Tiverton Town Band (August 9) complete the programme.

All the concerts begin at 2pm and are free to watch.

On September 27, also at 2pm, Taunton Concert Band will be playing at Blake Gardens as part of the Bandstand Marathon, a series of 150 simultaneous concerts across the country.
