Family fun event at 37 Club this weekend

A CLUB near Bridgwater will be hosting a fun, family event this weekend to support a children's charity.

The 37 Club in Puriton will be hosting its Family Fun Weekend on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday in aid of Children's Hospice South West.

The event, which has been organised by Gill Brown and friends, will offer live music, a barbecue, a cake stall and car boot sale on the Sunday from 11am to 3pm along with a children's fun tent, fancy dress and nursery rhyme competitions.

Children can also dance the night away in a disco during the evening after spending the day enjoying the many activities and stalls on offer.

The adults will then have a chance to battle against each other in the skittles alley to win a £100 prize from 12.30pm to 3pm on the Monday.
