A SPECIAL event giving people the chance to find out about the major issues facing the planet is taking place in Bridgwater.
The 'Be the Change' open meeting and discussion will be held at the Bridgwater Arts Centre on Saturday, February 13 from 10am.
Organisers say the aim is to give people an insight into the nature of our world how everyone can start doing something to combat the challenges it faces.
It combines leading edge information with inspiring video clips from some of the most respected thinkers and activists of our time.
Organiser Lindy Booth said: “As we hear more and more about diminishing gas supplies, rising oil prices and humanitarian disasters all around the world, it's a good time for all of us to start thinking a bit more deeply about how climate change and other environmental challenges are likely to affect us at a local level, and what we can do to improve our personal resilience.”
