Bridgwater’S finest kickboxing and mixed martial arts fighters will be battling it out during a special event in the town on Sunday, June 6.
The eight homegrown competitors will compete against national and international rivals in the Head to Head fights at the ground of Bridgwater Town in a specially-made cage.
Bridgwater contestants include southern area champions Chris James, Rob Ellick and Audrius Budrys, who will be taking on Carl Mallinson from Chippenham in a bid to retain his title.
And in an international prestige bout, Chris James will hope to come out on top when he takes on James Wallis from Wales.
Other Bridgwater contestants include Shaun Luther, Chris Peppin, Mark Godbeer, Paul Charlotte and the town’s first female MMA fighter, Karen Meek There will be 15 fights in total, and Bridgwater contestants will be pulling no punches to get to the top.
