ONE of the UK’s top tribute bands to Pink Floyd will entertain audiences in Weston this summer.

Think Floyd will perform at The Winter Gardens on Saturday, July 7, at 7.30pm.

The band is renowned for its stunning celebration of one of the world's greatest musical icons, and has been successfully touring theatres and venues around the UK and abroad for over 15 years.

Their new show for 2012 celebrates the 40th anniversary of Floyd’s ground-breaking movie, ‘Live at Pompeii’, and will tour more than 40 UK theatres, venues and festivals.

The show will feature a selection of tracks from this iconic film, as well as a whole range of classic Floyd, from Syd Barrett, through Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall to The Division Bell.

Think Floyd consists of four musicians – Tony Red, Peter Mizen, Paul Whisker and Brian Duel – whose attention to detail and appreciation of Floyd's music have allowed them to faithfully recreate all the atmosphere, visual magnitude and musical excellence of Pink Floyd live on stage.

Tickets cost £15 on 01934-417117 and at www.thewintergardens.com
