Steve Steinman as Baron Von Rockula in Vampires Rock.
VAMPIRES Rock comes to town merging rock and comedy in a performance packed with classic anthems by AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Joan Jett, Suzi Quatro, Queen and others.
Set in New York in the year 2030, the un-dead are livelier than ever, none more so than in club Live and Let Die, where aspiring singer Pandora (Hayley Russell) arrives to audition for the resident vocalist position.
Steve Steinman plays the charismatic and supremely evil Baron Von Rockula, owner of the Live and Let Die Club in search of a new bride.
The Baron must convince the unsuspecting Pandora, who auditions for the new singing position, to cross over to the dark side and live forever in rock ’n’ roll hell.
Little does she know that the only job on offer is to be the eternal bride of evil Baron Von Rockula.
Audiences can expect an amazing stage set, pyrotechnics, beautiful dancers and powerful vocals.
Vampires Rock hits The Playhouse in Weston tomorrow night (Saturday, October 20) at 7.30pm and tickets priced at £21 (£19 concessions) are available from the website at www.theplayhouse.co.uk or on 01934-645544.
