ST JOSEPH'S School in Burnham has joined an important list this week, after being awarded dyslexia friendly status.
The school joins 35 others in Somerset, with Somerset County Council behind the rigorous accreditation process.
Specialist intervention services manager at the council, Hilary Cankett said: "Great progress is being made across the county to ensure children with dyslexia get excellent support to thrive in school."
Head teacher, Simon Kingwell said: "We are really pleased with all the hard work from teachers and pupils in attaining this unique award."
