Woman pulled from ditch after Burnham crash

A WOMAN was pulled from a ditch by firefighters after her car crashed in Stoddens Lane, Burnham, today (Tuesday).

One fire appliance from Burnham and two appliances from Weston were mobilised to a single accident that saw a car crashed into the water-filled ditch.

On arrival, firefighters used a triple extension ladder and salvage sheets to rescue the casualty, who was then treated by an ambulance.

The scene was then left in the care of police.
