THIS weekend will see the return of the Taunton Motor Show.

The event, organised by the County Gazette in association with Taunton Racecourse, will take place at the course on Sunday, running from 10am until 3.30pm.

It promises to possess everything for dedicated petrolheads, as well as offering a host of attractions for all the family to enjoy - and parking and entry are completely free.

Among the attractions on offer are a fun fair, a host of food stalls showcasing the best of Somerset and beyond, as well as stalls hosted by the Army, St Margaret’s Hospice and your County Gazette.

And even if you do not drive, you can still get there for free, thanks to shuttle buses from Taunton bus station being provided by Berry’s Coaches.

The shuttles leave the town centre station at 10am and 11am, returning from the racecourse at 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 3pm.

County Gazette editor Paul Jones said: “The event promises to be a great day out for all the family, whether you’re a petrolhead or not.”

“We are also delighted to welcome so many great motor dealers from across the region, showcasing the best of what they have to offer.”

Among the brands on show will be Tesla, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Mini, Subaru, Kia, Ford, Vauxhall, Hyundao, Toyota, Mazda, Skoda and Nissan, so whether you are keen to see the best family cars on the market, or dreaming of that convertible speedster, Taunton Motor Show has it all.
