Fire safety and flu jabs at Love Lane Medical Centre

AROUND 280 patients received winter flu jabs at the Love Lane Medical Centre in Burnham.
With most of the patients aged over 65, Avon and Somerset Police took the opportunity to provide home security advice and tips for ensuring a spook-free Halloween.
Representatives from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service gave information about smoke alarms and free electric blanket checks, while members of the surgery's Patient Participation Group gave details of building work starting next month, to upgrade facilities and provide a pharmacy.
