AROUND 280 patients received winter flu jabs at the Love Lane Medical Centre in Burnham.
With most of the patients aged over 65, Avon and Somerset Police took the opportunity to provide home security tips for ensuring a spook-free Halloween.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service gave information about smoke alarms and free electric blanket checks while the surgery’s Patient Participation Group gave details of work to upgrade facilities and provide a pharmacy.
