A PUB in Burnham has presented a cheque for £500 in support of a project which rewards children for helping their community.

The Rosewood Inn, part of the Hungry Horse chain, held a charity fun day which raised money for Burnham Dreamscheme.

Dreamscheme organiser John Andrews said: “Burnham Dreamscheme demonstrated its new social enterprise – a badge-making business – on the day.

“It is now able to create bespoke badges for local organisations or even rent out the badge-making machine.

“Money raised will go towards funding the Dreamscheme, where children are rewarded with days out and activities after helping in the community.”

Burnham Dreamscheme thanked Rosewood Inn customers for giving money at the fun day and Bianca Landofi, who ran the event.
