YOUNG members of a dance group have welcomed their new teacher.
Ellie Chilcott is taking over from Emma Duffill as teacher of the BAY Club Dancers group in Burnham.
After teaching her final class, Emma said: “It has been my pleasure to teach dance at the BAY Club for the past ten years.
“I'm proud of the work that we produce here and pleased to be handing the club over to someone who is as passionate about dance in the community as I am”.
Ellie, a dance graduate from Kingston University, has been teaching dance in and around Somerset since June.
Ellie specialises in contemporary dance, traditional ballet, tap, modern and jazz, and will be running sessions at the BAY Centre on Wednesdays, from 4.30-5.30pm for three to seven-year-olds, and 5.30-6.30pm for eight to 12-year-olds.
